LETHBRIDGE – The Bulls completed a sweep of the Fort McMurray Giants with a 6-5 victory Sunday, June 4 in front of 810 fans at Spitz Stadium.

After the Giants tied the game 5-5 with a three-run third inning, the game remained deadlocked until the bottom of the ninth when Carter Witbeck hit a single that allowed Dylan Flasch to score from second base.

Pitcher Ben Erwin was credited with the win after coming in at the top of the ninth. Three strikeouts should have ended the inning, but a dropped third strike allowed Josh Snider to advance to first. Erwin subsequently struck out a fourth batter for the third out.

With the win the Bulls improve to 4-0. Their next game is on the road, Monday June 5 against the Medicine Hat Mavericks.
