Bulls infielder Bishop named Player of the Week

LETHBRIDGE – Bulls infielder Alex Bishop was named Player of the Week by the Western Major Baseball League Tuesday, June 6.
The Calgarian from the University of Texas at Tyler began the season with a strong week, hitting three home runs and two doubles. His batting average was .412, with nine runs batted in.
Bishop has been a big part of the Bulls’ 5-0 start to the season. They’ll try to extend their winning streak Wednesday, June 7 in Swift Current. The defending champion 57s have a 4-0 record.
