Bulls widen division lead with win over Okotoks

LETHBRIDGE – A strong start paved the way to a Bulls victory Tuesday, June 27.

The Bulls scored five runs in the first three innings, on their way to a 7-4 win over the Okotoks Dawgs at Spitz Stadium. Brett Semeniuk helped lead the way for Lethbridge with three hits and two RBIs.

The Bulls were outhit 11-8 by the Dawgs. Landen Bourassa was awarded the win after allowing three runs on seven hits over six innings. Chris Stodolka came in for the save in the ninth.

With the victory, Lethbridge widened its lead over Okotoks to one and a half games atop the WMBL’s Western Division. The Bulls’ next action is at home to the Dawgs Thursday, June 29.
