LETHBRIDGE – A rare blown save by Chris Stodolka brought the Bulls’ winning streak to an end.

The Bulls lost to the Melville Millionaires 10-8 Tuesday, July 4. The Millionaires snapped a losing streak by scoring six runs off Stodolka in the top of the ninth inning, before Ben Irwin relieved him on the mound with one out.

Both teams had twelve hits, but Lethbridge committed five fielding errors to Melville’s one.

The Bulls’ Nolan Handley hit his third home run of the season.

Lethbridge is now 17-10, still good enough for a tie for the division lead with the Okotoks Dawgs.

The Bulls head to Edmonton for a pair of games Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7, followed by a home-and-home series against Brooks on the weekend.
