Coaldale RCMP looking for suspect after snacks, lottery tickets stolen

COALDALE – RCMP are looking for a man caught in video breaking into a convenience store.

Police released security camera photos of the break-and-enter, which happened Thursday, Jan. 25 at 4:50 a.m. The man can be seen using an object to break a window of the Coaldale Stop and Go, and getting inside. He left with scratch lottery tickets, bags of potato chips, and candy.

The suspect is described as a male between 6’ and 6’3” tall, with a slender build and a mustache. He was wearing cowboy boots, jeans, a sweater, baseball hat, and gloves.

The vehicle shown on video is a later model Ford F-250 or F-350 truck, dark grey in colour. The box contained two large spools of wire, and other bags and boxes. There was a white bumper sticker on the tailgate, and the truck was equipped with a drop style hitch.
