Youth facing charges relating to Vauxhall stabbing

TABER / VAUXHALL — RCMP were called to a stabbing in Vauxhall around 4:45-am on Sunday, Feb On February 24.

Officers found a male had been stabbed once by another male during an altercation at a house party. The suspect fled the scene but, was located several blocks away in unlocked vehicle that didn’t belong to him.

The suspect youth can’t be named but, has been charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats. He has been released to appear in Taber court on March 23. 

 The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Taber Hospital where he was released a short time later.
