Police seeking witnesses as they investigate stabbing outside a nightclub

LETHBRIDGE – Anyone who may have witnessed a stabbing last weekend at a downtown nightclub is being asked to contact the Lethbridge Police Service.

Police were called to the Sound Garden parking lot along the 900 block of 1 Avenue South around 2:17 a.m. on Sunday, March 25.

They found that two groups of men were at the nearby Club Lime, when they became involved in an altercation. It continued as both groups walked across the street, where the victim was stabbed. The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arriving.

Police say victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Chinook Regional Hospital by EMS. There is currently no word on his condition.
