GRANUM – RCMP say two adults and one youth from Calgary have been arrested, after a vehicle pursuit that spanned four jurisdictions ended near Granum Tuesday evening (May 15).

Police say around 8:40 p.m., Calgary Police advised Okotoks RCMP they were following a vehicle what they determined to be a high-risk vehicle travelling south on Hwy 2.

Just after 9 p.m., the same vehicle was located in High River, and a pursuit began when the driver did not stop for police. It continued through Nanton, Claresholm and the headed towards Vulcan.

RCMP say they were able to stop the vehicle just north of Granum, after they deployed a tire-deflation device. The vehicle ended up in a ditch and three people in it were arrested without incident.

23-year-old TJ Bradley of Calgary has been charged with 10 offences including dangerous operation of a vehicle, and possession of methamphetamine.

A 17-year old female in the vehicle has also been charged, however, because of her age, she can not be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

A third person in the vehicle who was taken into custody has not been charged.
