Lethbridge woman charged by Claresholm RCMP for dangerous driving, drug possession
CLARESHOLM – RCMP from Claresholm have charged 52-year-old Kathy Visser from Lethbridge with eight offences after a traffic stop near Nanton.
RCMP were called about a truck allegedly driving erratically Northbound on Highway 2 on May 29, and the Nanton detachment was also called to help. They stopped the vehicle near Nanton and found it had a stolen license plate attached.
Visser was arrested and a search of the vehicle revealed she was allegedly in possession of drugs which were believed to be Methamphetamine.
She is facing eight charges in total, including simple possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, driving while disqualified and dangerous driving.
