Six pitchers combine for Bulls shutout of Edmonton

LETHBRIDGE – Six pitchers combined for a six-hit shutout, as the Bulls blanked the Edmonton Prospects 9-0 Wednesday, July 4.
Nearly 700 fans were on hand to watch the Bulls keep the Prospects off the scoreboard. Starter Ben Erwin allowed just one hit over four innings. Reliever Seth Spangler was awarded the win, after entering the game with two outs and the bases loaded in the third and getting the final out. He left the game with two outs in the seventh after allowing two hits.
On offence, Lachlan Mayo, Kaleb Warden, and Dustin Braun each had a pair of runs, while Dylan Borman had two RBIs.
The Bulls improved to 10-16. They play the 12-15 prospects again Thursday, July 5, 7:05 p.m. at Spitz Stadium.
