Annual maintenance means temporary pool closures

LETHBRIDGE – Annual maintenance will shut down two city pools over the next several weeks.
Both of the pools are indoor facilities. The first shutdown affects the Fritz Sick Pool Aug. 6-26. After that, the Stan Siwik Pool will be closed Aug. 27-Sept. 16.
The city’s other indoor pool, Nicholas Sheran, will remain open throughout. The two outdoor pools at Westminster and Henderson will be open as well, but only until Sept. 3.
The Gyro Spray Park and Rotary Centennial Fountain in Galt Gardens will also be open at least through the Labour Day weekend.
