Vehicle hits 7-Eleven store, police cruiser

LETHBRIDGE – Police were investigating an incident in north Lethbridge early Thursday, Aug. 16 that involved a police cruiser.

Early indications were that a vehicle hit the cruiser along 23 Street N. after first hitting the side of the nearby 7-Eleven store at Park Meadows Mall. Investigators were still on the scene several hours later.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital but it’s not clear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
