Sentencing date set for Lethbridge man in sexual interference case
LETHBRIDGE – Sentencing will have to wait until early next year for a 32-year-old Lethbridge man, who admitted to two counts of sexual interference last month.
Cody Tyler Black Forehead’s sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 25, 2019. Following his guilty pleas, a pre-sentence report and Gladue report were ordered to help shed light on Black Forehead’s circumstances, and they are expected to take roughly 16 weeks to complete.
He remains out of custody on $2,000 bail while he undergoes the assessments needed for the two reports.
In an agreed statement of facts, Black Forehead admitted that on Apr. 27, 2017, he met a 15-year-old boy on Facebook Messenger, and he invited the youth to go drinking with him. The youth agreed and brought another 15-year-old boy along.
