To manage University demand, Lethbridge Transit making some trial changes
LETHBRIDGE – The introduction of the new Universal Transit Pass or UPass at the University of Lethbridge has been successful, as ridership in West Lethbridge has increased but that’s prompting changes to help meet demand.
Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 9, the West Lethbridge route 32, going to the U of L, will increase in frequency during peak morning hours.
The route will run every 10 minutes between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. instead of every 15 minutes as it currently operates.
The route will return to 30-minute intervals after 9:30 a.m.
