Dry conditions keep firefighters busy

Coaldale and Lethbridge Fire crews deal with farmyard blaze

COALDALE — The smoke could be seen by travellers on Highway-4. However, the fire, spotted around 2:30 Thursday (Apr 25) afternoon, was located about a mile south of Highway-512 (Jail Road) just off of Howe road.

The blaze was located in a farmyard that contained old vehicles and out-buildings.

It isn’t know how much damaged resulted but, it’s believed there were no injuries or substantial loss to the property.
