Strong showing for several Synchrobelles at Wildrose Classic Provincials

EDMONTON, AB – The Lethbridge Synchrobelles Synchronized Swimming Club competed in the Alberta Artistic Swimming Wildrose Classic Provincials this past weekend in Edmonton, earning top 10 finishes in both individual (figures and solos) and team competitions.

LSSSC entered two competitive teams in the meet: a five-member team in the 10 and under age category and an eight-member team in the 16-20 age category.

Four swimmers performed solos while 12 swimmers competed in the figures portion of the meet.

Lethbridge Synchrobelles top ten finishes:

10&Under Figures:

7th – Brianna Sillito

9th – Asia Clarkson

13-15 Figures:

3rd – Jonah Pinksen

16-20 Figures:

1st – Jaime Jak

5th – Mia Brodoway

13-15 Solo:

Jonah Pinksen – 2nd in Routine and 2nd in Championship

16-20 Solo:

Mia Brodoway – 2nd in Routine and 2nd in Championship

Sophia Foder – 6th in Routine and 5th in Championship

10&Under Team:

8th in Routine and 3rd in Championship – Brooke Brodoway, Asia Clarkson, Bethany Evenson, Callie Shapka, and Brianna Sillito; coached by Carly Handsaeme

10&Under Team

16-20 Team:

3rd in Routine and 3rd in Championship – Mia Brodoway, Mia Chalmet, Sophia Foder, Jaime Jak, Jonah Pinksen, Tya Schow, Hayley Smith, and Kyra Wever; coached by Kira Nelson

The club will next host the Alberta Artistic Swimming Masters Meet on May 11 and 12 in Lethbridge at The Maxbell Regional Aquatic Centre.
