Swedish defenceman Olle Alsing signs with Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators have signed Swedish defenceman Olle Alsing to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Alsing, 23, recently completed his second full season in the Swedish Hockey League, and first with Djurgardens, leading SHL skaters in plus/minus rating (plus-26) while ranking second among club defencemen in scoring with 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 49 regular-season games.
The five-foot-11, 170-pound Alsing had four goals and four assists in 18 playoff games, helping his team advance to the SHL final.
