Two vehicle collision near Cowley sends two to hospital

COWLEY, AB. — Pincher Creek RCMP continue to investigate a two vehicle collision that happened at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 510 near Cowley, around 3:50 on Friday (May 17) afternoon.

A south-bound one ton truck collided with a west-bound SUV westbound. A 48 year old female passenger in the SUV was taken to a Calgary hospital with serious injuries. None of the five other occupants of the SUV were injured

The 75 year old male driver and lone occupant of the truck was also taken to hospital for undetermined injuries.

Traffic was re-routed for several hours. Pincher Creek RCMP and an RCMP Collision Analyst continue to investigate. There is no word on the condition of those sent to hospital.
