Two people from Montreal, one from Calgary facing multiple fraud-related charges
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Three people have been arrested and charged with a variety of offences, after an incident at the Picture Butte Scotiabank last week, according to Lethbridge Police.
Police say on June 26, a fraud allegedly occurred at the Picture Butte bank and as a result, all area Scotiabanks were put on alert.
The same day, a female tried what’s called and “account takeover” at the University Drive location, however police were alerted and the three were arrested.
The female was wanted on warrants for more than 90 charges, while a male had more than 45 outstanding warrants in five provinces.
