Man with assault & weapon charges in Lethbridge fight returns to Alberta to face trial
LETHBRIDGE, AB – 22-year-old Abshir Mohamed Adiid was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a man in Lethbridge on October 28th, 2018.
During an “out of control” party at a community hall on the 600 block of 21st Street South, police claim that a fire extinguisher was set off in the hall, which forced numerous people to flee outside.
When everyone was outdoors, a fight broke out between multiple people that saw the suspect being struck in the head multiple times.
“As the fight was being broken up the male pulled a pistol out of his waistband and pointed it at multiple people,” claims Lethbridge Police Service.
