Fire Department Water Rescue Team: Please, heed this message
LETHBRIDGE — It may appear to have a lazy amble but, the Oldman River, like many others, has hidden dangers. Because of those dangers, the Lethbridge Fire department Water Rescue Team wants to get its message out.
Brendon Pyne is Water Rescue Team lead and can’t underscore enough that the river has different levels in different spots.
“The river fluctuates in depth, depending on rainfall – if we don’t get much rain its a little more shallow and if we get a lot more rain then it goes up.”
