Lethbridge athletes competing at multi-sports games this summer

LETHBRIDGE, AB – More than two dozen athletes from Lethbridge will be or have been taking part in several multi-sports games throughout the summer.
According to Susan Eymann, Executive Director of the Lethbridge Sport Council, six athletes will attend the Pan American Games in Peru from July 26 to Aug. 11.
Seventeen athletes are going to the Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current, Saskatchewan from Aug. 9-18, and three athletes have already competed in the FISU (International University Sports Federation) Games in Napoli, Italy.
“It is inspiring to see so many local athletes and coaches competing at multi-sports events this summer, as Lethbridge prepares to host the 2020 Alberta Summer Games,” says Eymann.
