ALERT makes second major drug bust in a week in Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT — The ALERT unit has made another drug bust.

42 thousand dollars in cash and drugs were seized including methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl.

Police are concerned with the 67 grams of fentanyl included in the bust, saying it’s one of the larger amounts seized in Medicine Hat.

Search warrants were executed on Monday on a residence and a vehicle in Medicine Hat, concluding a 4 month investigation.
