Temporary irrigation system being installed at Lethbridge’s Legacy Park

LETHBRIDGE, AB – After the irrigation system broke down at the city’s newest park back in June, crews are working to install a temporary replacement.

The City of Lethbridge says the project is a “high priority is reviving the grass and trees” in the area.

The 73-acre park just opened to the public last summer.

“We appreciate the patience of park visitors as we work through this setback.”

As well, staff expect to be finishing up work on Legacy Park’s northern parking lot and pathway construction.

Work on the spray park should start in August.
