Ghostbusters 2020 filming in Fort Macleod August 8-13

FORT MACLEOD, AB – The Town of Fort Macleod has announced several road closures in the community to coincide with the filming of Ghostbusters 2020 (working title).

The production crew has advised the community that they will be filming between 11:00 am and 11:00 pm on Thursday, August 8th and Friday the 9th.

They will continue from 6:30 am to 6:30pm on Saturday, August 10th. From Sunday to Tuesday, filming take place between 2:00 pm and 3:00 am.

Lethbridge News Now reported last week that members of the production team will be on hand for a town meeting at the GR Davis Admin Building at Council Chambers from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 1st to answer questions and inform the public of their plans.

The movie is set to star actors such as Paul Rudd, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Aykroyd, and others. It is set to be released in theatres July 10th, 2020.
