Blood Tribe man faces 14 charges following traffic stop

STAND OFF, AB – A Blood Tribe man faces 14 charges following a traffic stop by the Blood Tribe Police.

The police service stated that on Friday, July 26 at around 3:00 p.m., they arrested 29-year-old Kyle Pace on outstanding warrants following a traffic stop.

In Pace’s vehicle, police say they found a loaded semi-automatic .22 browning rifle. The Blood Tribe Police also seized the following:

· 2 grams of crack cocaine

· A small amount of cocaine

· 1 gram of mushrooms

· $1,285 in cash

· A retractable baton

· Brass knuckles

· Several electronics

· A nail gun, reported stolen from Ontario

· Over 200 various rounds of ammunition for different firearms

Some of the 14 charges faced by Pace include possession of a firearm, drugs, weapons, stolen property and proceeds of crime.

Pace was released on $500 cash bail and will appear in Cardston Provincial Court Monday, July 29.
