10 people arrested in Fort Macleod on drug and stolen property charges

FORT MACLEOD, AB – During the week of July 16th, Fort Macleod RCMP worked with the Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) to arrest a series of suspects.

In the end, they were able to put 10 people behind bars after reportedly finding a stolen vehicle, a stolen license plate, a stolen iPhone, two stolen ID cards, two grams of methamphetamine, and one milliliter of heroin.

Five of the accused are from Fort Macleod, one is from Lethbridge, and one from Brocket. RCMP did not provide information on the other three suspects.

Four of them were released from custody on promises to appear in court at a later date, while the others remain in jail.
