No injuries after new driver hits downtown medical clinic Tuesday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are reminding those with learner’s licenses, they must have someone over the age of 18, and who does not have a Graduated Driver’s License with them, at all times when they are operating a motor vehicle.
That was not the case around 11:30 on Tuesday (July 30) morning. Lethbridge Police tell LNN a 40-year-old woman with a Class 7 license lost control of her vehicle, drove off 6 Ave. S., and into the Haig Medical Clinic.
A passerby snapped a photo of the incident.
Police say there were no injuries, drugs and/or alcohol were not factors in the incident, and there did not appear to be significant damage to the medical centre.
