Lethbridge man charged with possession of cocaine in Taber

TABER, AB – A man from Lethbridge has been charged in connection with a cocaine bust.

Taber Police Service said that on August 2, suspicious activity was reported in a residential area. Officers responded to the scene and a traffic stop was conducted. The TPS did not specify where this took place.

A man was arrested and TPS members found 58 grams of cocaine in the vehicle.

47-year-old Lester George of Lethbridge has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

He was released after a bail hearing and will appear in Taber Provincial Court on August 20.
