Kids invited to help design new north Lethbridge playground

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is inviting kids and their parents to Legacy Park on Thursday, August 15th to help shape the design of the new discovery playground.
“This new play area is intended to be a multigenerational space where people of all ages and abilities will find accessible, exciting and engaging outdoor fun,” reads a press release from the City of Lethbridge.
From 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, parks staff and design consultants will be on site to show the current concept designs and take feedback and ideas for elements of the new playground.
Kids of all ages can show off their creative skills by “building the play tower of their dreams” or by working with a consulting artist to draw pieces of the new playground.
