Lethbridge Hurricanes trade for forward Dino Kambeitz

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have announced their latest acquisition.

They traded 18-year-old defenseman Nolan Jones to the Victoria Royals in exchange for 19-year-old Kambeitz and a fourth-round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 6’0″, 201-pound d-man was drafted by the Royals in the fifth round of the 2015 draft.

In the 2018-2019 season, he played in 67 regular season games, securing 25 points and 48 penalty minutes. He made another five goals and seven points in 10 post-season games.

Jones has been with the Hurricanes since he was drafted in the second round in 2016.
