Police investigating armed robbery at north Lethbridge gas station

LETHBRIDGE, AB – At approximately 4:50 am on Friday, August 16th, police say a masked man and woman entered the Circle K/Esso gas station on Bluefox Boulevard North.

While the man stayed at the entrance, they claim that the woman showed her gun to the store clerk and demanded cash.

An undisclosed amount of money was given to the pair, who allegedly fled in a dark-coloured vehicle operated by a second man. The suspects headed west out of the area.

The store clerk was not injured.

Lethbridge Police say the woman is described as being short with darker skin and a bandana covering her face.

The man is said to be tall with dark skin and wearing a black and grey hoodie with a dark bandana on his face.

There is no description for the man driving the vehicle.
