Outside lane along westbound Whoop-Up Drive to be closed Monday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Commuters take note for this Monday, August 26.
The City of Lethbridge says to coordinate work on westbound Whoop-Up Drive, the outside lane from 4 Street South to the bottom of the westbound Scenic Drive off-ramp will be closed. Crews will be working on drainage ditch repairs.
The bridge rehabilitation project and drainage ditch repair are occurring at the same time to make use of the existing speed reduction and avoid extending lane closures, according to the City.
Along both lane closures, the posted speed limit will be 50 kilometres per hour. This work is anticipated to be completed by mid-September.
