$95,000 drug seizure results in charges against Lethbridge man
LETHBRIDGE — A 22-year-old city man faces drug charges after $95,000 worth of methamphetamine, carfentanil and cocaine was seized from a west side home last week.
A short term investigation into drug trafficking activity, culminated on Friday, (Sept 6), with police conducting a targeted traffic stop on a Dodge Caravan.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of quantities of carfentanil and cocaine along with drug trafficking paraphernalia, $755 in cash and a pair of homemade brass knuckles.
A follow-up search warrant at a home along Purdue Court seized about 171 grams of methamphetamine, 185 grams of carfentanil, 107 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of psilocybin, counterfeit currency, stolen clothing and a 12 gauge shotgun.
