Christian Heritage Party names federal election candidate in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge’s newest federal election candidate has been named.

Marc Slingerland will represent the Christian Heritage Party.

He was acclaimed as the candidate in a nomination meeting in Picture Butte this past June. Slingerland’s political background includes representing the CHP in Lethbridge in 2006 and running in the Foothills (formerly Macleod) riding in the 2008 and 2011 elections.

Slingerland is a teacher and principal of an independent Lethbridge County school.

He joins Amy Bronson (Liberals), Shandi Bleiken (NDP), Grant Hepworth (People’s Party of Canada), Stephnie Watson (Green Party) and incumbent Rachael Harder (Conservatives) in the 2019 federal race.
