LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two of the Lethbridge Hurricanes’ more prominent players will likely not be suiting up for the Penguins in the 2019-2020 season.

Jordy Bellerive and Calen Addison were among the dozens of hockey players attending the NHL team’s camp.

The Penguins issued an update on their camp, saying that they have reduced their roster to 46 players.

Bellerive was one of the 10 people who got cut but has instead been assigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

He spent the last three seasons with the Hurricanes, serving as captain in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Last season, he played 68 games with the WHL club, recording a total of 83 points.

Addison, on the other hand, will re-join the Hurricanes.

This will be his third season with the team, as the d-man made 65 total points in 67 games.
