LETHBRIDGE, AB – The WHL regular season officially kicks off for the Lethbridge Hurricanes this weekend.

They are coming off a mixed pre-season, going two-and-two against Red Deer and Swift Current.

Given that some of the Hurricanes’ veterans like Captain Jordy Bellerive, Jake Leschyshyn, and Nick Henry are heading to the NHL, General Manager Peter Anholt says it opens up opportunities for many of their younger players to step up.

He expects Dylan Cozens to be a big part of the team this year, as the forward lead the club last season with 84 total points.
