Men arrested in Lethbridge for possession of weapons, drugs for trafficking

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Members of the city’s Downtown Policing Unit say they found two men near the Supervised Consumption Site on Thursday, September 19th with weapons and drugs.

Talking to the suspects around 9:50 pm, one was known to police and was reportedly found to have a metal bar sticking out of his jacket.

Upon further investigation, officers claim he was also in possession of a machete, baseball bat, bear spray, 2.7 grams of methamphetamine, and a small amount of fentanyl, while also breaching conditions of a probation order.

Ramsey Wilfred Eagle Plume, 21, of Lethbridge, is charged with possessing an offensive weapon, possessing a carry-concealed weapon, and failing to comply with a probation order.

Eagle Plume is in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.

Also arrested is Cameron Christopher Weasel Head, 27, of Standoff. He is charged with breaching the conditions of a recognizance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of stolen property.

Weasel Head is also in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
