LETHBRIDGE — A Travel Advisory has been issued for Southern Alberta. Residents are being told to avoid all travel from the BC border to the Saskatchewan border along Highway-3 and along all roads south of Highway-1.

Heavy snowfall and poor visibility is expected to continue overnight resulting in extreme winter driving conditions

As for school closures, there are extensive closures across the south for Monday. Palliser school buses will Not be running.

The closures include all schools within the Palliser School Division South of Calgary, including Arrowwood & Milo community schools.

As well, Horizon, Westwind and Livingstone schools will be closed.

All Holy Spirit schools will be closed including the following:

– St. Joseph School, #Coaldale
– St. Catherine School, #PictureButte
– St. Mary and St. Patrick, #Taber
– St. Michael – #BowIsland

Immanuel Christian school will be closed, as well as Kainai Schools.

In Lethbridge, City Transit and school buses will not run on Monday. As a result, all Lethbridge School Division Schools will be closed.

Also, both the University of Lethbridge and College classes have been cancelled for tomorrow.

Reeves College in Lethbridge has also announced that it too will be closed on Monday.
