The men’s volleyball team beat St. Boniface in a double bill on Saturday, Sept. 28. In game one, the Kodiaks won 3 sets to 1, in game two they won 3-0.

The only weekend loss came against Medicine Hat College later on Saturday, a 4-0 loss. That was followed with a 3-2 win Sunday vs. Medicine Hat and a 3-1 win later in the day.

The men’s soccer team defeated Medicine Hat College 1-0 on Saturday. Unfortunately, their matchup with Ambrose University on Sunday (Sept. 29) was postponed due to the winter storm-like conditions.

On the women’s soccer side, they tied with Medicine Hat College 0-0 on Saturday and like the men’s team, their game against Ambrose was postponed on Sunday.

U OF L PRONGHORNS

The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns were much busier over the weekend.

The men’s basketball team defeated the University of Calgary in a close matchup. Final score was 96-92.

The women’s team went 2-1 this weekend. They beat Acadia University 77-75 on Friday (Sept. 27), lost to the University of Prince Edward Island Saturday, 64-60 before trouncing Dalhousie University 86-55.

The U of L Pronghorns men’s hockey team faced the University of Manitoba back-to-back Saturday and Sunday. They lost Saturday’s game 2-0 before winning Sunday’s meeting 5-4.

The women’s hockey team went undefeated over the weekend, beating the U of Calgary 3-0 on Saturday at Nicholas Sheran Arena before a 3-1 win on Sunday against the University of Saskatchewan.

The men’s soccer team lost 2-0 against the University of Saskatchewan Saturday, while the women’s team tied 1-1 with MacEwan University.

Their Sunday game against the University of Alberta Pandas was postponed.

On Friday, Sept. 27, the women’s rugby team lost 17-15 against the University of Victoria before a 49-15 loss Sunday against the University of British Columbia.

Due the weekend snow storm, the U of L Invitational at the Lethbridge Country Club was cancelled.
