LETHBRIDGE, AB – After losing to the Prince Albert Raiders Friday night 4-2, The Lethbridge Hurricanes travelled south to Saskatoon to take on the Blades Saturday night, in the second of their four-game eastern road trip.

The team didn’t fare much better. Three power plays – two for the Blades and one for the ‘Canes yielded no score in the first period, and it wasn’t until late into the second period, that anyone put up numbers on the scoreboard.

The Blades’ Riley Mckay made it 1-0 nearly at the 15 minute mark, in the 2nd frame, followed by Nolan Kneed at 2:50 in the 3rd frame.

The ‘Canes Dylan Cozens scored his 6th of the season at the 13:00 minute mark, to put the team back in the game, however even with an extra player late in the third, the Blades hung on for the win. The ‘canes went 0-3 on the power play, and were outshot 30-27 by Saskatoon.
