BROOKS — Martin Shields will once again represent residents of the Bow River riding.
In the 2015 federal election, the former Mayor of Brooks won with 77 per cent of the vote.
Liberal candidate Margaret Rhemtulla is 10 votes ahead of the NDP’s Lynn MacWilliam for second place. Rhemtulla has 182 votes, compared to MacWilliam’s 172.
People’s Party of Canada candidate Tom Ikert is in fourth place with 80 votes.
