No charges laid in pedestrian collision

LETHBRIDGE — City police are cautioning pedestrians to be aware of their surroundings and obey traffic control devices.

During the noon hour on Wednesday (Nov 13), officers were dispatched to a collision at University Drive and Gary Drive West.

An investigation revealed that the lights for North / South traffic on University Drive had turned green, when a 13-year old pedestrian ran across the road in front of on-coming southbound traffic

The young teen’s injuries were not life threatening and no charges were laid.
