Canada-wide warrant issued for Edmonton man wanted on human trafficking charges

EDMONTON, AB – People from across Canada are asked to be on alert for a man facing 12 charges, including human trafficking.

Kevin Bernavil, 30, was scheduled to appear in court in Edmonton on November 26th, 2019 and failed to show, prompting Edmonton Police Service to issue a country-wide warrant.

It is unclear if he is still in Alberta’s capital or not.

“Bernavil is known to be violent and should not be approached,” warns police.

He is described as a black man, standing 5’2″, and weighing 190 lbs. He is known to wear prescription glasses.
