Two charged after allegedly stealing rims from Kirk’s Tire in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police have arrested two people who were reportedly trying to steal tire rims from a local business.

Officers were called to Kirk’s Tire on 238 22nd Street North at 10:10 pm on Tuesday, November 26th.

The caller told police that he saw on video a man jump the fence into the compound area where the rims are located. He was able to watch the movements of two people carrying several rims.

Police found two suspects, a man and a woman, in a parking lot on the northern end of Kirk’s Tire.

The investigation lead officers to a Volkswagen Jetta with a small utility trailer connected to it. Police claim to have found several vehicle rims belonging to Kirk’s Tire inside.

David Andrew Ferreira, 42, of no fixed address is charged with break, enter and theft. He was released by a Justice of the Peace and is scheduled to appear in court on December 18, 2019.

Connie Iqaluk Pudluk, 36, of no fixed address is charged with break, enter and theft. Pudluk remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on November 29, 2019.
