Big rig collision ties-up traffic on Lethbridge’s eastern edge Friday night

LETHBRIDGE — City Police are continuing an investigation into a collision on Crowsnest Trail Friday (Dec 6) night.

Officers responded to the intersection at 43 street and Crowsnest Trail just before 9:00-pm, after a dump truck collided with a semi trailer unit.

The collision resulted in a three-hour closure of the westbound lanes heading into Lethbridge and the southbound lanes of 43 Street.

No injuries were reported and no other details were immediately available, pending conclusion of the investigation.
