Warrant issued for suspect in fatal collision in Fort Macleod

FORT MACLEOD, AB – RCMP are asking your help in finding a southern Alberta man that is believed to have been responsible for one person’s death in a collision last week.

Tristan Big Sorrel Horse of Glenwood, Alberta is facing charges of dangerous driving causing death, failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death, and operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited.

The collision happened at approximately 2:40 am on Sunday, December 15th on Highway 3 in the town of Fort Macleod.

A 19-year-old passenger was found deceased.

“The whereabouts of Big Sorrel Horse are unknown and a warrant has been issued for his arrest,” reads a media release from Fort Macleod RCMP.
