Lethbridge MMA fighter Jordan Mein signs with Bellator

LETHBRIDGE, AB – One of the city’s top MMA fighters is heading back to the big leagues.

Although Bellator has yet to make an official announcement, Mein announced on his Instagram page and his website, JordanMein.ca, that he has signed an “exciting new deal” with Bellator MMA.

In addition to having a heavy involvement with the local promotion Rumble in the Cage, the 30-year-old welterweight (170 lbs) has had fights in Strikeforce, Score Fighting Series, and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

In his professional fighting career, Mein has secured a record of 31 wins and 12 losses. This includes 16 victories by knockout, seven by submission, and eight by decision.

Mein’s most recent contest in UFC was on July 28th, 2018 when he won by unanimous decision over Alex Morono.

A debut opponent in Bellator has not been announced yet, but he is expected to start sometime this year.
