Pincher Creek RCMP searching for stolen trailer and tools

PINCHER CREEK, AB – RCMP in Pincher Creek are asking for the public’s help in recovering a white 7×14 foot enclosed trailer.

It was reported stolen Tuesday night at a wind farm construction site north of Pincher Creek.

According to RCMP, there was a large number of tools and crane-rigging equipment used to install windmill towers inside the trailer.

“The value of the equipment and tools is over fifty thousand dollars.”

The license plate on the trailer is Alberta 5RA624.

It is believed that a dual-tired truck was used to steal the trailer.

RCMP claim that there has been a large rise in crime both in the town and in the surrounding rural areas.

Anyone with information on this theft or any other crime is asked to record all of the information they can and report it to police or 911.
