Search for missing southern Alberta teen leads to drug & stolen vehicle charges
TABER, AB β Taber Police Service have arrested a 15-year-old girl who officers were originally looking for for a different reason.
Medicine Hat Police phoned the police station in Taber on Thursday, January 16, requesting help in finding a teenager who was reported missing.
Police in Taber found the youth and arrested both her and a man, seizing 74 grams of cocaine, 24 grams of cannabis, and one gram of carfentanil.
βIt was determined that they were also in possession of a stolen vehicle and other stolen property,β reads a media release from Taber Police Service.
